Lot 388 A nameplate, DEFENCE, from a LMS Class 6P Jubilee No 5722 built at Crewe and named after a Royal Navy cruiser built in 1907 and lost at the Battle of Jutland in 1915. Allocated new to Blackpool Central on 24 August 1936, its later sheds included Crewe North, Camden, Willesden and Rugby from where it was withdrawn on 27 November 1962 and cut up at Crewe Works by 19 July 1963. 28¾" long, in ex loco condition. £7000-8000
