A nameplate badge as carried by the SR West Country Class Bulleid Light Pacific No 21C101 EXETER, BR 34001, the Class leader built at Brighton in May 1945 and, following trials, allocated to Exmouth Junction where it remained until moving to Bricklayers Arms in November 1957. Its later sheds were Nine Elms, Eastleigh and finally back to Nine Elms from where it was withdrawn on 9 July 1967 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport, taken by them on 31 October 1967. This hand painted badge, 20"x23¼", in an original surround is believed to have been fitted to the loco after one of the original enamelled badges had been lost and is in ex loco condition. £8000-10000
